Place your thumb on the release button. This will release the bottom jaw and the jaws will now open at their maximum.

Now place the open jaws of the spanner over the nut or bolt and, using the same thumb, push the leg of the lower jaw back up until firm against the nut or bolt head. Quick-Adjustable Wrench is now set to the size of the nut or bolt and will stay set at this size until the release button is pulled back again.
